Recensione – Mutants and Death Ray Guns

Con discreto ritardo ma con molto piacere mi accingo a scrivere una breve recensione dell’ultimo lavoro di Andrea Sfiligoi e della sua Ganesha Games: Mutants and Death Ray Guns. Il manuale in questione è un regolamento skirmish fast di ambientazione fantastico-fantascientifica. Come sempre ringrazio Andrea per il supporto e gli mando il mio “in bocca al lupo” per gli imminenti Origins Awards ai quali è stato nominato il suo primo regolamento Songs of Blade and Heroes (il Canto degli Eroi).

Recensione – Perry Miniatures ACW Plastic Infantry

Anche la Perry Miniatures entra nel ristretto ma promettente gruppo di produttori che hanno deciso di realizzare finalmente anche per il wargaming storico dei set di miniature in plastica rigida. Song of Blades and Heroes

As announced and a bit late here is my review of “Song of Blades and Heroes”. The volume is a new fast and simple (Beer and Pretzels style) fantasy skirmish ruleset, the first product of the newborn Ganesha Games created by the italian illustrator Andrea Sfiligoi, to whom I sent a big thanks for supporting this review.

Il Canto degli Eroi – Recensione

Come preannunciato e con leggero e colpevole ritardo eccovi la mia recensione de “Il Canto degli Eroi” (conosciuto come “Song of Blades and Heroes” nella sua versione in lingua Inglese). Il volume in questione è un regolamento per schermaglie fantasy molto semplice ed immediato ed è anche il primo prodotto della neonata Ganesha Games dell’italiano Andrea Sfiligoi, cui vanno i miei ringraziamenti per il supporto a questa recensione.

Conquest 500 Nations Indians MiniReview

Mi è giunto il primo dei due pacchetti di Indiani della serie 500 Nations prodotti dalla Conquest Miniatures. A causa dei soliti problemi di tempi e costi ho deciso di ordinare dal rivenditore per l’europa, ovvero la Northstar Figures (che ha sede in UK). La prima spedizione è stata fulminea (dall’ordine al pacco meno di 1 settimana lavorativa) e le comunicazioni con la Northstar chiare e precise, quindi un voto positivo per questo rivenditore che in catalogo ha numerose ditte produttrici. Passando alle miniture vere e proprie devo dire di essere rimasto stupito in modo positivo dal blister rigido che conteneva le miniature su un fondo di gommapiuma. Un blister superiore anche alla GW dei tempi d’oro. Le miniature in se sono eccezionali come pose e dettagli (come avevo intuito dalle ottime foto del sito ufficiale) e quindi anche per la Conquest Miniatures un voto positivissimo. Va ricordato anche che la produzione della serie 500 Nations contiene numerosissimi blister con pose e tribu indiane molto varie.

I’ve just received the first of two packages with Indians from the 500 Nations serie by Conquest Miniatures. Due to the usual problems with shipping costs and time I’ve decided to order from the official reseller for europe, the Northstar Figures (based in UK). The first package arrived after only 1 week from the order and the info exchange with Northstar was clear and detailed, so I can give them a “big thumb up” for their service, if you’re interest I can also tell you that they have many different producers in their big catalog. Talking about the minis I’ve to say that I was very surprised by the nice and hard blister, with the minis protected by a base of soft material and an hard plastic shell better than the goldenage GW packs. The minis are spectacular (as I’d supposed from the nice photos on the official website), so also for Conquest Miniatures a super positive vote. The 500 Nations series is made of a really big number of different blisters containing many different tribes and poses.

Valiant Miniatures: “Classic German Infantry 44-45“ Review

Here comes the second review of the first Valiant Miniatures products. The box reviewed now is the “Classic German Infantry 44-45“ which represented the Valiant Miniature debut in the market together with the “British Tommies 44-45“ box. These boxes hold 68 hard plastic 1/72 miniatures with a specific wargamer target.

Con la pubblicazione dei green ancora caldi dei prossimi prodotti della Valiant Miniatures, vi propongo la recensione della seconda delle due scatole già prodotte. La scatola in questione è la “Classic German Infantry 44-45“ che assieme ai “British Tommies 44-45“ hanno rappresentato l’ingresso sul mercato della Valiant. Ricordo a tutti che questi box contengono ben 68 miniature in plastica rigida in scala 1/72 e che il target principale del produttore è dichiaratamente il wargamer.
